A timeline of my personal updates, showing how projects, interests, and focus areas have evolved over time.
May was defined by being busy. At DreamNum, I started exploring a new DSL for describing spreadsheets in a way that agents can understand and operate more naturally than traditional Python libraries. Alan for macOS became my daily terminal and replaced Warp, while the agent side waited for the next architecture push. My cat is eating more but still losing weight, and stopping bike commutes in Shenzhen's summer heat has made my body feel worse again.
Left Workus AI on March 20, took a month-long reset, and joined DreamNum on April 17 to help bring Univer's spreadsheet editing capabilities to agents. The month was split between grief over my cat's pancreatic cancer, getting back into cycling, and big progress in Alan and openrouter-rs 0.8.x.
Fully committed to the agent world—building Marco at work, building Alan as the open-source foundation for all my future agents. Killed Kira and paused Sealbox after realizing the future belongs to agent-first infrastructure, not human-facing tools. Shipped openrouter-rs 0.6.0 with 100% API coverage and a full CLI. Founders Fight Club is now a playable prototype with 16 characters.
The 2025 year-end review I planned to write never happened—too busy building. Past two months focused entirely on Marco's pivot from vertical B2B agents to a general-purpose Agent Runtime with Domain Pack abstraction and pluggable Skills system. Also planning to start a band called MAJE with colleagues.
Turned 31—entering what I call the second phase of life. Work shifted to large-scale crawling architecture and data engineering as we expand our vision to a B2B Sales Network. Started learning Godot to build a silly game about Silicon Valley founders fighting each other. The anxiety persists, especially after seeing Manus get acquired.
Work has been intense—MVP completed and now in user testing. Started developing Kira after Gemini 3 Pro's release, focusing on scheduling and ideas management. Also exploring an education IDE concept while grappling with some existential questions about impact.
Moved into my new home on October 3rd and established a healthier daily routine with early mornings and home-cooked meals. Fully focused on building a B2B Sales Agent at my new company with FastAPI + Tanstack Start stack, while personal projects temporarily take a back seat.
Joined an early-stage startup as Head of Engineering while finishing the final punch list at home: deep cleaning, tackling formaldehyde, and bringing the kitchen online before moving in early October.
Getting ready to move into my new house in October, deep into Rust + AI work, rebuilding Sealbox architecture, learning shaders, and rediscovering my bass through Zutomayo's incredible basslines.
